CMR Surgical is a global medical devices business headquartered in Cambridge, UK. Due to recent expansion they had outgrown the space available at their headquarters and did not have the capacity to store all their inventory in one place. Having identified a suitable new site APS were brought in to design and install a complete fit out to create a dedicated storage facility to house both the manufacturing inventory and the Operations and Logistics teams.
We wanted to bring all our stock and Operations teams under one roof and in particular our Operations Quality teams require environmentally controlled rooms. We chose to work with APS because they were recommended to us by a trusted supplier of ours. Since moving in to the new site and having all of our stock under one roof it has allowed us to supply our production line much quicker, understand our inventory flow and it also gives us greater flexibility.
